The Member Development Division provides advice and services to individual co-operatives and to groups of co-operatives on their own membership structuring and training needs. This includes:

• Director training programmes
• Co-operative leadership programmes
• Developing new co-operative services and enterprises
• Promoting greater awareness of the value of co-operatives and of their work
• Organising national and regional conferences on co-operative subjects
• Advice on industrial relations
• Rural development initiatives
