The mission statement of ICOS is 'to lead, represent & support the Irish Co-Operative agribusiness sector in achieving its business objectives'.

To carry out this mission, ICOS is divided in to three main divisions, all of which provide a range of services to its member co-operatives:

• General Directorate/ Administration Division
• Policy Development Division
• Member Development Division
